The Minitube canine chilled semen transport box is made of a highly insulating neopor graphite polystyrene which holds constant temperature for up to 45 hours.
Detailed tests have verified that a constant temperature of semen below 10 degrees Celsius is maintained for approximately 40 hours inside the neopor transport container. Ordinary Styrofoam boxes record a significant increase in temperature after latest 24 hours, the duration of constant temperature depends on the ambient temperature.
